Goldin Peiser & Peiser, LLP (GPP) is proud to announce that Moazah Ahmed will serve as their new Strategy and Operations Manager and Crystal Shin will be taking on the new position of Business Development Director.
As Strategy and Operations Manager, Ahmed will work on special projects and systems improvements for the firm. Shin, in her role as Business Development Director, is responsible for leading and driving business development initiatives that grow the firm’s client base and identify new prospects in industries including Medical, Dental, Manufacturing/Distribution, and Oil & Gas.
“The creation of the new position of Strategy and Operations Manager will fill a real need we’ve seen in our firm, and I am confident that Moazah’s skills, dedication, and resourcefulness will bring a lot to this new role,” said Allan Peiser, Managing Partner at GPP. “We also look forward to what Crystal will accomplish in her new role as Director of Business Development. As a CPA and a former member of the Audit team, she brings in-depth knowledge of the accounting world and first-hand client experience to all her interactions with our prospects and strategic partners.”
Ahmed joined GPP in 2014, serving as business development manager. She studied at Rutgers University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Philosophy in 2006, and later returned to school, receiving a Master of Public Administration in Public and Nonprofit Management and Policy from New York University in 2013. Ahmed was born in Reading, Pennsylvania but spent her early childhood in Saudi Arabia; she subsequently lived in Japan, New Jersey, and New York, before moving to Dallas in 2013 with her husband, Salman.
Shin has been with GPP since 2015, when she joined as an audit manager. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Texas at Arlington and holds both a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Science in Accounting. Born and raised in Korea, Shin currently resides in Carrollton, Texas with her husband, Kevin, and their two children.
