The local accounting firm of Goldin Peiser & Peiser, LLP (GPP) is pleased to announce the promotions of Amber Gutschlag, CPA to tax manager, Katie Heller, CPA to tax senior, Ashley Meller, CPA to tax senior and Matthew Swento to tax senior.

Gutschlag joined the firm in 2015 as a tax senior. In her role as tax manager, she provides tax and consulting services for varied entities and industries, including medicine, farming, aviation, real estate, trusts, nonprofits, and ministries.
Gustchlag graduated cum laude from the University of Texas at Dallas with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Information Management. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA), the Dallas CPA Society and McKinney Main Street Board. Gustchlag resides in McKinney, Texas with her husband, Tim, and their two children.
Heller joined the GPP team in 2015 as a tax associate. As a tax senior, she assists with client returns, reviews, and bookkeeping services. She serves clients in several industries, including oil and gas companies, and healthcare practices. Heller also works with high net worth individuals.
Heller received her Master of Science degree in Accounting, Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting and Bachelor of Arts degree in Markets and Culture from Southern Methodist University. She is a member of the AICPA, the TSCPA and Dallas CPA Society.
Meller came to GPP in 2013 as an accounting associate. In her role as a tax and accounting senior, she is responsible for preparing financial statements, payroll reports, property tax renditions, and any other accounting needs for her clients. Meller works primarily with clients in the medical, dental, and service industries.
Meller received both her Master of Science in Accounting Information Management and Bachelor of Science in Finance and Business degrees from the University of Texas at Dallas. She is a member of the TSCPA. Meller currently resides in Plano.
Swento joined the Goldin Peiser & Peiser, LLP team in 2014. He began as a tax associate, and has now been promoted to tax senior. Among other duties, Swento is responsible for providing tax return services and tax planning for clients in many industries.
Swento received his Master of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Texas at Dallas. He is a Chicago native who currently resides in Frisco, Texas.
