Goldin Peiser & Peiser, LLP (GPP) recently had the opportunity to volunteer at Junior Achievement of Dallas. On November 18, 2016, twenty employees of the firm volunteered with Junior Achievement of Dallas (JA) to teach kindergarten through 2nd grade students at Lorenzo D Zavala Elementary School.
“Junior Achievement of Dallas plays an important role in helping local children have a positive future,” said Allan Peiser, CPA, Goldin Peiser & Peiser. “We are committed to supporting this organization and will continue to find new and unique ways to give back to our community.”
Junior Achievement's (“JA”) purpose is to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy – in the core content areas of work readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy. JA helps mostly underprivileged students by bridging the gap between the classroom and workplace. “JA in a Day” is a program that enables companies to present the elementary school curriculum over the course of five hours. GPP is committed to giving back to the greater Dallas community, and most recently participated in Operation Kindness Work Paws Play Day, donating over $900 to the organization as well as a truck-load of in-kind items.
