The local CPA and strategic advisory firm of Goldin Peiser & Peiser, LLP (GPP) is proud to announce that Debbie Ames, Director of Business Development, was recently accepted to the 2013-2014 Leadership Frisco Class.
“I am thrilled to have been accepted to the Leadership Frisco Class,” said Ames. “The resources and insight I’ll receive from the class will not only help strengthen my leadership skills, but will also allow GPP to become more involved in community events and volunteer opportunities.”
The Leadership Frisco Class is a nine-month community leadership program sponsored by the Frisco Chamber of Commerce that develops a pool of qualified, well-informed individuals set to assume leadership roles in the community. It seeks out local, highly motivated individuals interested in expanding leadership skills, deepening their sense of civic responsibility and heightening their involvement in volunteer opportunities within the community.
Throughout the course, participants will get to explore the inner workings of Frisco’s government, education system, economic development, service organizations, leisure and culture, and public safety. Participants will also learn about and practice skills critical to working with volunteers and groups in the community and their businesses.
