finalThe CPA and advisory firm of Goldin Peiser & Peiser, LLP (GPP) is proud to announce that Partner Emeritus Ted Hong spoke at the UniTax Conference on April 19, 2016. Mr. Hong gave a presentation to the leadership of the firm on the U.S. tax system.  He was accompanied by GPP Managing Partner Allan Peiser.

Ted is recognized as an experienced resource on international tax issues and has made presentations to foreign companies on U.S. tax issues on a number of occasions. In his capacity as a trusted CPA, he has helped numerous businesses on inbound and outbound tax implications and strategies for U.S. companies that do business with Asia, and Asian companies that do business in the U.S.  His specialty area includes working with U.S. subsidiaries of many large Asian/European public and private companies. He has extensive experience in creating the most beneficial tax efficient strategies in such areas as oil & gas and real estate
investments in the U.S., with many of the companies having over $100 million in total assets.

UniTax Certified Tax Agent Co., Ltd has over ten thousand customers in such industries as finance and insurance, real estate, science and technology, pharmaceutical, petrochemical, import and
export trade, aviation, clothing, manufacturing, energy, and business. The company employs over 1250 people, including approximately 430 registered tax agents.

In addition to presenting at the UniTax Conference, Ted and Allan met with a number of their international clients located in Taipei, Taiwan and throughout China. “It was the ideal opportunity to touch base with our clients. Given the distance between our firm and our clients’ locations, we rarely get a chance to meet with them face-to-face,” stated Allan. “GPP places great value on delivering exceptional personalized service and if that takes a trip to Asia to do so, we support it.”
