On Tuesday, September 20 the staff at Goldin Peiser & Peiser (GPP) participated in Operation Kindness’ Work Paws Play Day. The great staff at Operation Kindness brought 4 adorable puppies and 4 cuddly kittens to the GPP offices as a great stress reliever during tax deadline time. In return, the firm and its employees donated over $900 and in-kind items to Operation Kindness. Items donated included much needed food, towels, blankets, play toys, cleaning supplies, and detergent. In addition, one lucky puppy was adopted by GPP’s Office Manager Sandy Spindel. “It was love at first sight,” stated Sandy. “Once I had her in my arms and looked at those large puppy eyes I was hooked!”
Operation Kindness is the original and largest no-kill animal shelter in North Texas. In 40 years they have saved more than 85,000 cats and dogs. They care for approximately 300 cats and dogs on a day-to-day basis, with another 150 in foster homes. In the past 12 months over 4,500 homeless cats and dogs received medical care, clean shelter, nutritious food and playtime in a natural setting until they were adopted into new forever homes.
