For the past few years, the staff at Goldin Peiser & Peiser has dedicated one day in November to volunteering at Junior Achievement. In the past, team members have taught K-2 students and participated in the JA Finance Park program. This year, twenty GPP staff members volunteered at JA BizTown, helping 5th and 6th-grade students experience real-world activities such as working in a job, participating in business and town meetings, deciding what to do with their paychecks, managing their personal checking accounts and debit cards, buying retail items to take home, and voting. The students work in 14 businesses, manage their personal and business finances, develop and sell products, hold business meetings, pay taxes, and donate to charity.
In addition to volunteering with Junior Achievement, Goldin Peiser & Peiser has raised over $10,000 for this vital organization.
